Teachers can apply online to get a transfer

The Punjab government has started an initiative for teachers. A portal has opened for general transfers through which teachers can apply online. Education Minister Punjab Harjot Singh Bains stated that those teachers who are willing to get transferred can apply through the e-Punjab portal from March 28 to 31.

Only online transfer requests will be accepted. Offline applications will not be considered. Harjot Singh Bains said that transfers would be made in accordance with the teacher transfer policy of 2019 and the revised policy of 2020.
