The German language will be taught in Delhi govt schools
On April 5, The Delhi government signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) agreement with the Goethe Institute. It will provide the German language course in government schools of Delhi. Manish Sisodia signed the MoU, who is the Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister of Delhi as well. German is the global language that will provide global exposure to the students who are studying in schools in Delhi.
The pilot phase
The language course will be introduced in 30 schools under the Directorate of Education including Schools of Specialized Excellence (SoSEs). Students will be trained to strengthen their professional skills by the faculty from Goethe Institut/ Max Mueller Bhavan. The collaboration between Delhi and Germany will create immense opportunities, Sisodia said. read more
