The Punjab govt will give 1500/- per acre

On April 30, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann announced to provide financial assistance to all the farmers who will do direct sowing of paddy crops. In an address to the people of Punjab, he stated that paddy sowing time is near, however, the water level of the state is also going down day by day. Many districts have come under come to Red Zone. So, the government of Punjab will provide Rupees 1500/- (per acre) to every farmer who will sow paddy crops by the direct method. read more
