The Russian military open humanitarian corridors and hold fire

On March 7, Reuters reported that the Russian defense military will hold fire and open humanitarian corridors in various cities of Ukraine including Kyiv at 10 am Moscow time (0700 GMT). The ministry added that the corridors are being set up at the personal request of French President Emmanuel Macron. As per the maps published by the RIA news agency, the corridors will open from Kyiv will lead to Belarus (Russian ally), and civilians from Kharkiv will only have a corridor leading to Russia.
